As a principal with the consumer and retail strategy practice of KPMG in Boston, Massachusetts, Matthew Hamory builds on more than 18 years of relevant experience. He comes to his current role following service as partner in the retail and consumer practice of Oliver Wyman, where he drove growth and development for the firm's North America business unit. There, Matthew Hamory oversaw key management processes, including growing revenue and profitability, while also leading multiple client engagement teams and developing overall strategy as an advisor to client executives.
Matthew Hamory accepted this role having served successfully as a Partner with Oliver Wyman, a position in which he nurtured strong client relationships while helping to build the firm's brand. He came to this role having initially joined the firm as an analyst, and advanced steadily through roles of increasing responsibility.
In his free time, Matthew Hamory takes an active role in his community. He volunteers extensively with the Tenacre Country Day School, where he serves as a committee member for the Tenacre Dads Group and co-chairs the Tenacre Annual Fund. Mr. Hamory and his family are also regular supporters of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and other organizations that give back to those who have served their country.
